Addi 7% Sales tax (Welaka), (6.5% in Volusia Co/ Ponce Inlet) on all boat rentals.

$250 refundable damage deposit
required on all boats.

Reservations

A deposit of ½ the rental fee is required
for advanced reservations.

All our boats have current U.S. Coast Guard safety
inspection certificates and required safety equipment.
Portable VHF radios are also provided.

Renters must be 25 years of age and
have a valid drivers license.
Late Fee $50.00 per hour.
Nighttime operation prohibited.
Pets allowed at our discretion.
Cleaning fee may be assessed.

Cancellations

Reservations may be cancelled thirty days or more in advance to receive a refund. (5% Processing Fee for cancellations.) Cancellations made up to seven days in advance will be refunded half the deposit. No refunds will be given for cancellations made within seven days of date reserved.

St. John's River

The Indians called this river Welaka, which translated means "river of lakes". The St. Johns River stretches 310 miles beginning in Central Florida north to Jacksonville. This magical river is the only river in North America that flows north and is considered one of the "laziest rivers in the world." The St. John's River is world renowned for it's bass fishing, and is home to a staggering amount of different species of birds and wildlife including blue herons, cranes, egrets, alligators, manatees, deer, panthers, and bobcats. Welaka, Florida is located right in the middle of it all. Welaka lies north of Little and Big Lake George, the St. Johns River's largest lake and home to Silver Glenn and Salt Run Springs, and south of Dunn's Creek, which connects the river to Lake Crescent.
